If a wedding supplier you've paid has gone out of business, you'll need:
- Your written contract or booking confirmation with the supplier
- Proof of any deposits or advance payments — receipts, statements, transfer records
- Evidence that the supplier has entered insolvency, such as a Companies House notice or administrator's letter
- Confirmation you can't recover the loss elsewhere, including Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act or a chargeback scheme
